Ryder Cup captain reflects on what makes a successful team

Thomas Bjorn, winning Ryder Cup Captain 2018, reflecting in a radio interview this morning on what makes a successful team:

“Personalities are more key than being great at what you do… Great teams want to do it for each other. Successful teams sit down and look at each other and say, we’re going to do this together. They want to get the best out of each other. They don’t come into the team environment and feel that they are more than anyone else. They lift each other together. They make the new guys feel comfortable and good about themselves. And they come together as a group and achieve great things.”

Great reflections for all of us working in teams.
