More exciting global facilitation challenges
The challenge of designing and delivering a Global Summit bringing together 200+ people from 70+ countries around the world is one that really excites us. We helped with the design and facilitation of a similar GNDR event in The Hague, Netherlands back in 2013 and, using a variety of tools to involve people inside the conference room and also in their respective organisations back home, to participate before, during and after the conference, we were really pleased with it’s success. “The most participative conference I’ve ever been to” reported one government delegate.
So we’re delighted to have been asked to continue our advisory and facilitation work with GNDR as part of their worldwide campaign that is increasing awareness of disasters and seeking to reduce the impact on those most vulnerable. Work is already underway to bring together representatives of communities from around the world to a 2016 Global Summit in Bangkok, Thailand, and develop the next steps in this campaign.
