2015 starts with global gatherings!
Last year ended and our new year has started with a flurry of webinars. Having spent years working face-to-face with groups, the opportunity to reach higher numbers of people at one time, in countries across different timezones, has proved a challenging and fulfilling experience. Since Christmas, people have joined our sessions from as far afield as Australia, Fiji, Hong Kong, Philippines, all the way across the timezones to Honduras, Uruguay, Canada and across the US.
Andrew has been running online interactive sessions for two international clients – one using WebEx functionality to support groups of up to 80 leaders at a time with performance management skills, and a second challenge to launch a new Global Board using GoToMeeting.
We love working internationally and so this has been an exciting challenge to work through the best ways to support leaders through different challenges. Plenty of pros and cons of using technology versus face-to-face, some good learnings and a nice challenge to start 2015!
